Keeping the Passion Alive

Keeping the Passion Alive

Whether you have been married for decades or are still relative newlyweds, keeping the passion alive is not always easy. Between the demands of work and family and the difficulties of life, making time for your spouse or significant other can be harder than you think.

If your relationship has lost its spark, there are things you can do to recover the passion and enhance the romance in your life. Here are some ideas to help you keep the passion alive no matter what else is going on in your life.

Turn Off Work Mode When You Get Home

Nothing kills the mood faster than an ill-timed email from the boss, so take your phone off work mode as soon as you get home. Turn the phone off, or at least leave it out of the bedroom; your spouse or significant other will thank you and you will have a better work-life balance.

Listen to Your Partner

Sustaining a romantic relationship can be challenging, and it just gets more difficult over time. If you want to keep the spark in your relationship and turn your bedroom into a honeymoon suite, start by talking to your partner.

Talk about the little things; like how your day at work went and what the kids are up to. Talk about the big things; like the world at large and what is in the news lately. Keeping the lines of communication open is good for your relationship and your romance.

If you want to keep the spark alive, do everything you can to set a fire in the bedroom. Foreplay should not be just a prelude to the main event; it should be an integral part of your sexual life. Romance is all about setting the mood, and nothing sets the mood faster than an extended period of foreplay.

Try Something New in Bed

If your sex life has gotten predictable and the spark has gone out of your relationship, it might be time to try something new. From role-playing and unusual positions to toys and different forms of foreplay, there is plenty you can do to mix things up and bring the spark back into your relationship.

Keeping the lines of communication open in the bedroom is important, especially if you want to try something new. Talk openly and honestly about what you like, what you dislike and what you would like to try. Sharing your fantasies could open a whole new level of intimacy in your relationship.

Cuddling and Kissing

Sex is not the only form of intimacy, and sometimes it is not even the most important. If your relationship has lost its fire, try setting the spark with some good old-fashioned kissing. You may be surprised at the effect a well-timed deep kiss can have, so warm up your lips and give it a try.

Cuddling can also set a spark in your boring sex life. Cuddling should not just be something you do after sex; it should be an integral part of intimacy for yourself and your partner.

Use Caya Instead of Hormonal Birth Control

Birth control is important, but all those extra hormones can kill your desire and interfere with sexual arousal. If you want to keep the size of your family under control and still have a satisfying sex life, try using Caya instead of hormonal birth control. With Caya, you can keep the arousal, enjoy an active sex life and still protect yourself from unwanted pregnancy.
